Revise a budget
Adjust the ceilings on a budget already in force, with an audit trail.

Revise a budget in force
- Open the year's budget and click Revise.
- Adjust the categories that need it; the variance against the current ceiling is shown as you type.
- Record why the revision is being made — it is kept in the history.
- Send for approval. The new ceilings take effect once approved.
A revision does not overwrite the original. Every version stays readable for audit.
